Winery History

The winery was built back in 1989 and was sold for the first time back in 2006 to the new owner Dieter Juergens. With the new ownership came a new vineyard and new vision of wanting to be one of the finest wineries in the area.

Description of Vineyards

Fair Play Farms was planted back in the late 90's by Mr. Juergens with the vision of having the finest vineyards in the Sierra Foothills. With the philosophy that great wine is made in the vineyards Fair Play Farms is one of the most expensively farmed vineyards. We also practice sustainable farming techniques to preserve the land for years to come.

About the Winemakers

Both Jonathan and Garret are young UC Davis graduates in Viticulture with a passion to make great wine.

Our Exclusive Wines

With only 200 cases of each varietal produced a year our Cobra series of wines are our most limited in production and availability. The CobraZin and CobraSyrah are the boldest wines we produce and are made from a premium lot of barrels hand selected by the owner.

Additional Information

Our beautiful mission style winery is only an hour east of Sacramento. Complimentary tasting is available every day as well as barrel tasting. Grab a snack from our deli case and have a picnic on our veranda or in the wine park.
