Winery History

Milliaire Winery was founded in 1983. Our tasting room location is an old gas station. We used crush grapes in the parking lot and do the barrel work in the back. You can still envision the old pumps as you walk in. Come see for yourself and enjoy some expertly crafted wines!

Description of Vineyards

Our selection of Sierra Foothill vineyards range from 110 year old calaveras county vines to certified organic vineyards in Amador county. Each vineyard has distinct charateristics that are reflected in the wines.

About the Winemakers

Winemaker Steve Millier has had a distingushed carrer for over 36 years including winning winemaker of the year in 2004! He crafts wines that express the uniquness of each vineyard.
